The number of people ‘going vegan’ has increased by 500% in three years in the United States since 2014. In India, where approximately a third of the population is already vegetarian, trend watchers are spotting an increase in the number of vegan food places.

Many millions of animals are used by the fashion industry every year, including 1.1 million sheep and 1.6 million cows for wool and leather, as data from CO’s Mapping the Industry research shows.
