1. VF Corporation boycotts Brazilian Leather
The forest fires that are raging across Brazil have shone a spotlight on Brazil’s bovine leather exports which accounted for $1.44 billion in 2018.
As a result of the crisis, VF Corporation, the US holding company of Timberland, Vans, Kipling and the North Face, announced on 26th August that they will stop purchasing leather from Brazil.
